PURE MANAGEMENET GROUP opened a branch of its Dick's Last Resort restaurant at the Excalibur Hotel Casino. The Excalibur site advertises the eatery as a place for "deliciously messy cuisine, zany decor, rowdy wait staff ... and let-loose atmosphere." Generous cocktails and big portions of standard American finger foods, including honey roasted chicken, beef ribs and crab legs, are on the menu. THE GUGGENHEIM HERMITAGE MUSEUM at the Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino unveils a new exhibit on July 27, Modern Masters from the Guggenheim Collection. The exhibition showcases 37 works that represent critical achievements in the development of modern painting. This exhibit features the works of master artists from the 1870s through the early 20th century, including Cezanne, Van Gogh, Monet, Chagall, Mondrian and Picasso.
