CLUB, Playboy Enterprises' first new club in more than 20
years, has debuted at the Palms Casino Resort. The venue is located
at the top of the Palm's new Fantasy Tower and is connected by
glass-enclosed escalators to the N9NE Group's new restaurant, Nove
Italiano, and the Moon nightclub. The tower also houses a Playboy
Boutique with Playboy-branded merchandise and a 9,000 square-foot
Hugh Hefner Sky Villa, which includes, among other accoutrements, a
replica of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner's rotating circular bed.

CANNERY
CASINO RESORTS completed the acquisition of Nevada Palace
Hotel & Casino. The Nevada Palace will continue to operate
under the management of Cannery Casino Resorts while a new casino
facility, to be named the Eastside Cannery, is built at the site.
Construction is set to begin in January on the Eastside Cannery,
which will feature a 1960s-style industrial look and offer a
307-room hotel, 65,000 square feet of gaming space, six
restaurants, a 200-seat entertainment lounge, two casino bars,
20,000 square feet of meetings space, a 430-seat bingo room and a
150-seat race and sports book.
