DISNEY CRUISE LINE said it will return to Mexico during the summer of 2008 with seven-night cruises from Los Angeles. Starting May 25, 2008, the Disney Magic is scheduled to sail 12 consecutive seven-night cruises from Los Angels with stops in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. Rates for the Mexico cruises will start at $1,599 per person, and the itinerary will be available for booking starting Jan. 31, 2007. Disney Cruise Line said a similar itinerary from Los Angeles during the summer of 2005 received tremendous customer reaction.

THE UPSCALE IKAL del MAR VILLA RESORT & SPA on the Riviera Maya launched a five-night Stylish Putt and Pamper package to coincide with the inaugural Mayakoba Golf Classic, the first official PGA tournament to take place outside the U.S. or Canada, from Feb. 19 to 25 in Playa del Carmen. IBEROSTAR HOTELS & RESORTS said it will open the Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso, the fifth resort in the Iberostar Playa Paraiso complex on the Riviera Maya, on Feb. 9. The resort will mark the launch of Iberostars new Grand Hotel brand of five-star luxury properties. Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso will feature 300 suites; 12 Honeymoon Villa Suites with private butler service, four a-la-carte restaurants, three swimming pools, a private spa for hotel guests and concierge services.
