THE BIG
ISLANDS HUALALAI RESORT, home to the 243-room Four Seasons
Hualalai, has been sold to computer magnate Michael Dells MSD
Capital in partnership with investment management firm Rockpoint
Group. A seamless transition is anticipated, with Four Seasons
continuing to manage the hotel. MSD purchased the Four Seasons
Resort Maui at Wailea in 2004.
HAWAIIAN
AIRLINES in April was again named the airline with the
best on-time record in the U.S. It was the 30th consecutive month
Hawaiian has been No. 1, with 94.3% of its flights arriving on
time. Hawaiian has had the nations best on-time performance since
November 2003.
