Effective November 19, Hawaiian will add four weekly flights between Sacramento and Honolulu and three weekly flights to its Seattle-Honolulu schedule.

MEANWHILE, THRIFTY CAR RENTAL has signed on with Hawaiian Airlines frequent-flyer rewards program. As an introductory special, Thrifty is offering double mileage rewards on midsize and larger rentals between June 1 and September 30.

THE ALA MOANA HOTEL is honoring the completion of its first-phase room renovations with specials good for bookings through June 30, 2006. UNITED AIRLINES is launching several new flights, adding San Diego and Seattle to its Hawaii-U.S. mainland routes, with weekend service between both cities and Honolulu. Also, effective June 8, the carrier is adding three daily flights to existing routes.

NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINE lost money on its Hawaii interisland cruises in the first quarter. The company blamed rising payroll and fuel costs for the $28.1 million loss. A third ship, the Pride of Hawaii, largest of NCLs three-ship interisland fleet, is set to start service in June. Also, NCL has announced plans, effective this fall, to move its Hawaii ship-training program to the Islands from Maryland.
