INTERNATIONAL will take over the management contract for
the Kapalua Bay Hotel in Maui. The vacancy was left when Starwood

Marriott to name the Kapalua Resort property its latest Renaissance
Resort. Maui Land & Pineapple has been the principal investor
in the property since Aug. 31. There is currently a Renaissance
Resort in Wailea, also on Maui, which is in the process of being
sold to Starwood -- rumors are circulating that it will become a W
brand hotel and resort.
