VACATIONACCESS, a vacation-package booking system for
agents, rolled out VAX VacationAccess Air Only, a program that
provides full-content access to air inventory on eight major
airlines. The firm said it created the airline booking system,
which is powered by G2 SwitchWorks, at the request of agents,
particularly home-based retailers. The booking engine enables
sellers to shop across multiple airlines without leaving the VAX
VacationAccess platform and does not require additional logins or

UPDATE: Cruise and Travel University was approved for the
second year by the Travel Institute to provide eight continuing
education units to certified travel industry executives, certified
travel counselors and certified travel associates who complete the
