THE FIFTH
ANNUAL LAS VEGAS ODYSSEY will be held Nov. 4 through 7 at
the Four Seasons Las Vegas. The event, which celebrates fine wine,

activity this year will be a celebrity chef golf tournament in
which attendees will play a round of golf with a celebrity chef at
the Rio Secco Golf Club. Proceeds from the Las Vegas Odyssey will
benefit Keep Memory Alive, an Alzheimers support organization; the
Odyssey Lifestyle Le Cordon Bleu Educational Program, a scholarship
for aspiring chefs, and the National Center for Missing &

LOVEMAN, president and CEO of Harrahs Entertainment, will
deliver the keynote address at the 2004 Governors Conference on
Tourism, which will be held Dec. 6 through 8 at the Reno Hilton
hotel-casino. Nevada: Leading the Way will be the theme of the
conference, which is produced by the Nevada Commission on Tourism
and is attended by travel industry professionals from the U.S. and
abroad. Frank Fahrenkopf Jr., president and CEO of the American

PASSION & TRADITION has moved from the V Theater
inside the Desert Passage to Club Tequila inside the Fiesta Rancho
Hotel & Casino. Presented by Rodri Entertainment Group, the
90-minute show, which celebrates Mariachi music, includes 14
musicians and vocalists as well as a brief video montage featuring
such Mariachi legends as Lola Beltran and Jose Alfredo Jimenez. The
show is performed every Sunday at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $32 and $22,

HAVANA NIGHT
CLUB -- THE SHOW, the largest production to emanate from
Cuba and perform in the U.S. in more than 50 years, can be seen at
the Stardust Resort and Casino through Sept. 5. The production,
whose presenters and associate producers are Siegfried and Roy,
features 13 musicians, eight singers and 32 dancers, who celebrate
Havanas legendary nightlife. The show is performed at 7:30 p.m.
Thursdays through Tuesdays and 10:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

AMERICA WEST
AIRLINES will add service between its Las Vegas hub and 11
existing destinations beginning Oct. 31. Flights will be added to
Chicago (OHare); Denver; Los Angeles; Minneapolis/St. Paul;
Oakland, Orange County and San Jose, Calif.; Portland, Ore.; Salt
Lake City; Seattle/Tacoma; and Vancouver. With these new flights,
the carrier will offer nonstop service from Las Vegas to 54
destinations with 133 daily departures.
