THE LAS VEGAS CITY COUNCIL unanimously approved DDB Ventures plans for a three-day Festival of Speed slated April 6 through 8. The event will include the Las Vegas Grand Prix, which will kick off the 2007 Champ Car World Series schedule, as well as a major concert and a championship boxing match. The race, which will feature some of the sports top names, will run over a specially constructed 2.4-mile, 14-turn street course in the citys downtown that will include Ogden Avenue, Main Street, Casino Center Boulevard and Carson Avenue.

THE HIBISCUS SPA at the Westin Casuarina Las Vegas Hotel, Casino & Spa has been designated a member of the Starwood Spa Collection, a group of 38 elite spas worldwide.
