Travel Weeklys Las Vegas E-letter: Sept. 28, 2004

THE VENETIAN RESORT-HOTEL-CASINO will be in the pink -- literally -- this Thursday as part of the kick-off for Estee Lauders Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign. Actress, model and Estee Lauder spokeswoman Elizabeth Hurley and Evelyn H. Lauder, the senior corporate vice president of the Estee Lauder Cos. and founder and chairwoman of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, will be joined by tennis great Andre Agassi and celebrity chef Thomas Keller at the dusk ceremony to flip the switch that will illuminate the resort in hot-pink lights. The property will be the first of dozens of international landmarks to be bathed in pink light for the breast cancer awareness campaign. The illumination ceremony will be preceded by a hot-pink fashion show in the Venetians Grand Canal Shoppes and followed by a silent auction and VIP fundraiser at Kellers Bouchon restaurant, also located in the Venetian. The event marks the Estee Lauder Cos. fifth annual Global Landmarks Illumination Initiative.

All standard guest rooms now also offer high-speed Internet access.
