Brits lift ban on Tourism Australia's ad campaign

British advertising regulators lifted a television ban March 17 on Australias latest tourism campaign.

The TV portion of Australias Where the bloody hell are you? campaign was pulled two weeks ago after British broadcast authorities objected to the use of the word bloody.

But publicity over the ban gave a big boost to the campaign and sparked a storm of ridicule in Britain; it will now be run in its entirety.

The campaign was scheduled to kick off here during an episode of ABCs Lost on March 22. If you missed it, you can view the campaign at www.wherethebloodyhellareyou.com.
