Tourism Australia is partnering for the first time with Luxperience, an annual travel trade event for luxury and experiential travel in Australia. The tourism office will support the event with social and digital e-marketing, international promotions and a familiarization program.
"Our international research demonstrates that Australia continues to hold extremely strong appeal globally, offering a … combination of … natural beauty and cosmopolitan cities," said Tourism Australia general manager destination development, Craig Davidson.
Tourism Australia will also support the Luxperience official welcome event on Sept. 2, and feedback from travel buyers will help Tourism Australia's future marketing campaigns aimed at high-end travelers. Luxperience 2013 will take place Sept. 2 to 4 at the Overseas Passenger Terminal on Sydney Harbor.
