The Bluff House Resort & Marina in Abaco, Bahamas, added eight suites overlooking the Sea of Abaco.
The resort, which was one of the first built in Abaco in the 1950s, is under new management, according to general manager Christopher Pollock.
"The Bluff House has retained the look of a classic British Colonial inn," Pollock said.
The new suites include decks and balconies, bamboo flooring and West Indies furnishings and amenities.
Accommodations also include one-, two- and three-bedroom villas.
The Jolly Roger Beach Bar & Bistro serves three meals a day; the Beach Club Bar & Grill will reopen later this year following renovations.
The resort will be closed from Sept. 9 to Oct. 20.
