Atlantis Paradise Island is rolling out a massive wave of new experiences, from high-end retail to a total spa overhaul and dining debuts.
The Mandara Spa is getting a multimillion-dollar face-lift. Launching in the spring, it will blend ancient Asian techniques with local Bahamian ingredients (think tropical fruits and minerals) for the ultimate reset.
The resort's shopping experience is upgrading, as well. A custom-designed Tiffany & Co. is now open, joined by a chic Jacquemus boutique. Soon, shops selling Lalique crystal, Creed fragrances and Vineyard Vines will open. And for the kids (or anyone with a sweet tooth, really), Dylan's Candy Bar is coming to Marina Village.
Food and beverage headliners
On the culinary front, Atlantis is doubling down on its reputation as a foodie heaven with three major new spots, two of which have graduated from pop-up status at the resort:
• Gong cha: The famed bubble tea spot is now open near the Royal Pool. It's the perfect place to grab a pearl milk tea or a passionfruit green tea to sip by the water.
• Cocodrilo: What started as a pop-up is now permanent. It's a cantina-style vibe serving up fire-kissed tacos and ceviche by day, then turning into a lively beachfront cocktail spot by night.
• Ko Sa-Wan: Chef Ian Kittichai (of "Iron Chef" and "MasterChef" fame) has brought his Thai pop-up back to The Cove. Expect bold Bangkok flavors like grouper steamed in banana leaves.
