International trends consultant Daniel Levine will deliver the keynote address at the Caribbean Tourism Organization's State of the Industry Conference in Martinique from Oct. 15 to 18.

Levine, executive director of the Avant-Guide Institute AGI, a New York-based trends consultancy for travel and consumer marketing, will speak on the topic, "Delivering more perfect visitor experiences — how to turn authenticity into real visitor numbers."

The conference brings together decision-makers from the private and public sectors, travel professionals, academics and media.

At this year's event, themed "Perfecting the experience: Delivering authenticity," delegates will explore topics that range from training and education to service quality, standards, visitor satisfaction and community involvement.

"Experts will focus on how to fuse the latest technologies with the attributes unique to the Caribbean, including a diverse culture, hospitable nature and musical talents to provide an authentic experience that will increase business to the region," said Sylma Brown, director of CTO-USA.
