The Caribbean Tourism Organization will
launch a trade show at the upcoming 29th annual Caribbean Tourism
Conference (CTC-29), being held from Oct. 22 through 25 at
Westin and Sheraton Grand Bahama Island Our
Lucaya Resort in the Bahamas.
The trade show came
about as a result of numerous requests from suppliers who want to
reach government tourism officials, travel agents and media,
according to Hugh Riley, CTO's director of marketing for the
Americas.
"Those who provide
goods and services to the tourism industry see the trade show as an
ideal venue for exposure to decision makers and others who play
critical roles in the industry," Riley said.
The CTC-29 trade
show will be held in the ballroom foyer of the host hotel; hours of
operation on Oct. 22 are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Oct. 23 and 24 from
10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 25.
