Fresh on the heels of
hosting the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association conference in
November, the Cayman Islands' largest-ever conference to date, the
destination snagged another biggie.
The Caribbean Tourism Organization's
annual Sustainable Tourism Development Conference is expected to
draw approximately 400 delegates to the Cayman Islands in May.
Last year's conference was held in
Puerto Rico.
Cayman Islands tourism officials are
expected to use the May conference to promote the destination's Go
East initiative, which is designed to push tourism investment and
activity into Grand Cayman's East End area as well as to sister
islands Cayman Brac and Little Cayman.
