Antigua’s Curtain Bluff is slated for a $13 million renovation.

The Curtain Bluff all-inclusive resort in Antigua will close on May 6 for a six-month, $13 million renovation of its public spaces. The reopening is slated for Oct. 28.

The project will include an overhaul of the resort entrance, dining spaces, bar, lounge and reception area.

Once the 72-room resort reopens, travel agents' commission rate will increase to 15%, according to Rob Sherman, Curtain Bluff's managing director.

The resort recently upgraded its four signature Hulford Collection suites, which are named after the resort's late founder, Howard Hulford.

Each suite has an infinity-edge plunge pool on the terrace overlooking the sea.
