Half Moon, the Jamaican resort destination managed by Salamander Collection, will officially reopen its Eclipse Half Moon property on April 2. Following a temporary closure for restoration after Hurricane Melissa in 2025, the reopening signifies a major milestone in Jamaica's national tourism recovery.
Located just 10 minutes from Sangster Airport, the property features 57 beachfront accommodations, an infinity-edge pool and private swimming coves. The resort's reopening features the reimagined Villas at Half Moon, a collection originally unveiled just before the hurricane. The Villas at Half Moon offer six- and seven-bedroom layouts equipped with a personal cook, butler, and housekeeper.
Amenities include a Robert Trent Jones Sr.-designed golf course, the Fern Tree Spa and dining at Delmare and Hayward's. The resort's equestrian center, fitness facilities and family-friendly programming will also resume full operations.
To celebrate the Eclipse's return, Half Moon created the Welcome Back Home offer, featuring a complimentary fourth night for every three nights booked plus daily breakfast and free dining for children age 5 and younger.
