Tamarind, a member of Elegant Hotels Group on Barbados' west coast, will transition to an all-inclusive property on Oct. 1, making it Elegant's fourth all-inclusive resort on the island.
The new pricing plan will include several all-day dining options at Sugar Cane Room and the 246 bar and restaurant; a dinner at Tamarind's signature restaurant, Daphne; and enhanced programming for kids and teens, including extended hours at its Flying Fish Kids Club for kids ages 3 to 12 and new programs at the Tamarind Teens Den.
The 101-room resort offers beach and pool ambassador service, an adults-only pool and a fitness center and spa.
"We see enormous potential for Tamarind under the all-inclusive model, and we're excited about the prospect of the resort complementing our existing portfolio," said Sunil Chatrani, CEO.
Elegant Hotels Group's portfolio includes four all-inclusive resorts on Barbados (Tamarind, Waves Hotel & Spa, Crystal Cove and Turtle Beach) in addition to three European Plan (room only) resorts on the island (Colony Club, the House and Treasure Beach). Elegant also operates the Landings resort and spa on St. Lucia.
