The Curio Collection by Hilton property slated to open in 2021 on Grand Cayman will be Hilton's first hotel in the Cayman Islands.
A statement from Hilton said that the accommodations would focus on sustainability and wellness. Matthew Wight, managing director of NCB Group, the property's developer, said that via its partnership with Hilton it would deliver "an innovative wellness tourism product that also caters to the discerning business traveler."
The 80-suite, beachfront hotel on the edge of George Town will have one- to three- bedroom accommodations with energy-efficient technologies; in-room yoga mats and fitness equipment; and lighting that regulates circadian rhythm.
Design features include solar panels, geothermal cooling, water recycling, LED lighting and solar water heating.
All units also will be available for purchase.
Facilities include farm-to-table dining at two restaurants and a poolside cafe, a gym, spa, conference facilities and a pool with a swim-up bar and juice bar. Executive and penthouse suites will have private pools.
Guests will have access to electric vehicle rentals and complimentary bicycles.
