Half Moon resort in Montego Bay has launched a year-round celebration for its 65th anniversary with packages, guest experiences and culinary offerings.
As a nod to the anniversary, a 6-for-5 promotion (stay six nights for the price of five) includes a round of golf at the resort’s 18-hole course, a treatment at Fern Tree Spa and the choice of several activities, including a meditation labyrinth, polo lessons or classes at the outdoor yoga pavilion.
The property's two-phased, $75 million renovation project, slated for completion this spring, includes 57 new rooms and suites to bring the accommodations total to 210 units and 31 villas.
New facilities include two restaurants, a marketplace and cafe, a vegan cafe, three more bars, a gift shop and an adults-only pool. Half Moon also redid its entry and Great House, expanded its beachfront and added pathways throughout the 400-acre property.
"Since opening our doors in 1954, Half Moon has been known for its warm Jamaican hospitality infused with superlative comfort and luxury, and now it is time for us to honor our iconic Caribbean resort," said Guy Stuart III, chairman.
