Hermitage Bay on Antigua's west coast is adding two beachfront suites, bringing the total number of freestanding suites to 27, including five beachfront suites.
The new suites are due to be completed in time for the holiday season; construction will start when the resort is closed this fall.
All the suites at Hermitage Bay feature soft lighting and are constructed from sustainably managed forests in Guyana.
Each new suite will have a split-level, open-plan living and sleeping area, ensuite bathroom, outdoor shower and covered sundeck with a small dining area, double day bed, and plantation chairs.
All-inclusive rates include meals and beverages, afternoon tea, hors d'oeuvres and use of single and double kayaks, paddle boards, Hobie Cats and Sunfish sailboats.
The resort also features a freestanding spa.
