Hyatt Hotels Corp. is expanding its all-inclusive footprint in the Dominican Republic with the Hyatt Ziva Punta Cana, slated to open in 2029.
The 650-room Hyatt Ziva Punta Cana will be located roughly 40 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport. The beachfront property will feature family-oriented amenities like a waterpark, five pools, a kids' and teen club, pickleball and tennis courts, mini golf, a bowling alley and a ropes course.
Dining options will include five specialty restaurants, an international buffet, a snack bar, a coffee parlor and an ice cream venue, with a beach club, six bars and a spa juice bar rounding out the food and beverage offerings.
The property will also include a building with adults-only accommodations.
The resort is being developed by Codelpa, which also owns the Secrets Tides Punta Cana within Hyatt's Inclusive Collection.
The Hyatt Ziva Punta Cana will join Hyatt's existing footprint of 34 properties within the Dominican Republic, 32 of which are all-inclusive. The company plans to open two additional Punta Cana all-inclusives later this year, the Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana and Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana.
The openings come amid a boom of higher-end resort development in the D.R.
