The company, headed by managing partners Marilyn Cairo and Hilary Lanzer, has a division that specializes in destination weddings and romance travel.

“E ach wedding incorporates the culture of the destination into the ceremony, and we guarantee that we can turn a wedding day into a wedding experience.”

Marilyn Cairo and Hilary Lanzer of AskMeInc.The firm booked and planned 800 weddings in 2013, which took place at a mix of brand-name hotels and standalone resorts in Antigua, Aruba, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, St. Lucia and Mexico (Cancun, Cozumel and Nuevo Vallarta) as well as in Colombia and Costa Rica.

In addition to helping resorts build up romance bookings, the firm also offers webinars for agents; private label call centers for hotel clients; brand positioning and marketing seminars for agents, tour operators and resort staff; sales and training seminars focused on trends in the wedding industry; attendance at consumer, bridal and travel agent shows; and development of new wedding packages.

AskMeInc launched a three-month sales blitz in February to promote its resort clients to 1,000 agents in the South, Northeast and Texas.
