The Jamaica Tourist Board has launched several promotions to drive bookings and raise awareness in the U.S.

In July, 650 FYE (For Your Entertainment) mall-based stores across the U.S. will offer one customer the chance to win a family trip for four to FDR resorts in Runaway Bay and Falmouth.

To coincide with Sony Pictures’ July 24 release of "The Ugly Truth," the tourist board joined forces with Air Jamaica and Sandals for a one-month promotion that will include a trip giveaway for two people.

Island Records has partnered with the tourts board and web retailer Shop.com on a two-month promotion that is expected to reach more than 42 million people in July and August. NWA World Vacations will provide the prize, a trip for two to Jamaica.

Barnes & Noble’s 200 top-selling stores in the U.S. are running a two-month online and in-store promotion. Air Jamaica and the Rose Hall Resort & Spa, a Hilton Resort will provide the prize, a trip for two people.

In addition to these national promotions, separate campaigns also are taking place in the Midwest, Southeast, Philadelphia and New York City.
