Kamalame Cay, off the coast of Andros in the Bahamas, introduced eight one-bedroom beachfront bungalows.

The bungalows, which are stand-alone suites, offer 16-foot ceilings, private verandahs overlooking the beach, a wet bar, an outdoor shower and are tech-free with no television or Wifi.

The resort offers a total of 27 seaside rooms, suites, cottages, bungalows and peaked-roof Balinese-style beach houses.

Rates, from $450 per night through April 30, include daily continental breakfast, snacks and use of a personal golf cart, an Internet lounge and sports equipment.

The resort is separated from Andros Island by an inlet and is edged by the Andros Reef and coral gardens. Boat transfers are provided from Andros to Kamalame Cay.
