Keeping tabs on Bertha

Hurricane Bertha strengthened back into a Category 2 storm Wednesday, about 660 miles southeast of Bermuda.

The National Hurricane Center said that warm ocean waters in Bertha's path caused it to intensify, although the storm's track still had it moving west-northwest, well east of Bermuda.

Meanwhile, the Bermuda Department of Tourism reminded visitors of its 2008 Hurricane Guarantee, which was created by the Bermuda Hotel Association and offers refunds and other options when a storm is near. Full details can be found on the Department of Tourism's website.
