Jamaica's capital city, Kingston, will host the 18th annual Jamaica Product Exchange (JAPEX) from April 25 to 27, marking the first time since 2003 that the event will be in Kingston.
"We're exited about the return of JAPEX to Kingston," said Basil Smith, Jamaica's director of tourism. "The city is at the heart of Jamaica's efforts to grow and enhance our tourism product."
Wayne Cummings, president of the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association, said that tourism officials view the event as an opportunity "to strengthen Jamaica's position as a preferred destination for both leisure and business travelers."
The event will bring together Jamaican suppliers with travel wholesalers and tour operators from the U.S and Europe.
