Norwegian Air will extend its seasonal nonstop service from New York Kennedy to Martinique through April.

The three weekly flights launched on Dec. 3, marking the first time that Martinique has been served by nonstop flights from the New York in more than 20 years.

In addition, the carrier launched twice-weekly seasonal nonstop service from Baltimore on Dec. 4 and Boston on Dec. 6. The carrier uses 737-800 aircraft on its flights from the U.S., equipped with free inflight Wifi.

American Airlines, meanwhile, resumes its schedule of six weekly roundtrips to Martinique from Miami on Dec. 19. It had expanded the service in July and August.

Connecting service to Martinique also is available via San Juan on Seaborne Airlines three days a week. Seaborne has codeshare agreements with American, Delta and JetBlue.
