New ferry service will launch Sept. 23 between Miami and North Bimini in the Bahamas.

The ferry will operate from the port of Miami to the pier at Resorts World Bimini, a 750-acre resort with a 305-room Hilton that opened in June. Resorts World Bimini also has a casino, six restaurants, four pools, a spa and the largest private marina in the Bahamas.

The high-speed ferry will makes the 50-mile crossing in two hours. Ferry service from Fort Lauderdale to Resorts World already operates.

Roundtrip Miami prices start at $128.98 per person. The ferry runs four roundtrips per week, departing Miami at 8 a.m. and leaving Bimini at 6 p.m.
