San Juan’s Luis Munoz Marin Airport received several military and rescue flights on Sept. 21 and expects to resume limited commercial flights today, according to the Puerto Rico Tourism Co.

Delta delayed its plans to restart flights until Saturday, pending further assessments of damage from Hurricane Maria.

Delta's website indicated three nonstops from New York JFK and three flights via Atlanta on Saturday.

On Saturday, American plans to operate six nonstop flights from Miami, two from Charlotte and two from Philadelphia.

The airport terminal was flooded due to leaking from the roof. The runway was full of debris, which has been cleared.
