Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina, the private island retreat in the British Virgin Islands, has appointed Dino Khanna as its new executive chef.

With more than four decades of global culinary leadership, Khanna will oversee all food and beverage operations across the resort. His responsibilities will include directing Cardamom & Co., the open-air Donovan's Reef Marina Bar & Grill and the casual One Shoe Beach Bar as well as catering for weddings, meetings and private events.

An award-winning chef, Khanna brings an extensive background in luxury hospitality to the property. He previously served as executive chef at Sandals properties in the Caribbean and the Hilton Brighton Metropole in the United Kingdom, and led culinary operations at the Queen Elizabeth 2 in Dubai, alongside notable tenures in the United Arab Emirates, South Africa and the U.K.

The resort's dining portfolio features four distinct venues for overnight and day guests. The newly refreshed Cardamom & Co. offers all-day dining overlooking the marina and pool.

Donovan's Reef features a swim-up bar and Caribbean favorites under a thatched roof, while One Shoe Beach Bar on North Beach offers a private pool, light bites and three brand-new private waterfront cabanas. In the Marina Village, the Scrub Island Outpost provides a full-service deli and premium provisions.

Tucked along a rugged cliffside, the luxury resort features 52 guest accommodations and a collection of two- to six-bedroom villas ranging from 3,000 to more than 6,000 square feet. The private island experience is completed by two private beaches, an intimate spa, a full-service marina, 17,000 square feet of event space and access to the resort's sister island, Marina Cay.
