AgentNet adds cruise booking function

LAS VEGAS -- Vacation.com members can now book major cruise lines with AgentNet, the agency network's Web-based communications platform.

The feature was unveiled at the network's annual conference here, a sell out that attracted 1,800 delegates, including 1,400 travel agents.

Vacation.com members who use AgentNet -- and there are some 7,000 who do -- can book Princess, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity cruises through an Amadeus-powered booking tool.

Amadeus is the parent company of Vacation.com.

By the end of the year, booking capability for Carnival, Holland America, Windstar cruise lines will be added, said Vacation.com officials.
