A short power outage affected three decks on Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas on Thursday.

The outage lasted less than an hour by all accounts and affected the back section of the 5,400-passenger ship.

Officials said that none of the mega-ship's diesel engines were affected during the outage, and that crews were working to find the cause.

The Allure is sailing a seven-day Western Caribbean cruise that left Fort Lauderdale on Oct. 9. The ship is hosting the CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. annual conference, with 700-plus agents onboard.
