American Safari Cruises, which currently
offers trips on yachts of no more than 22 passengers, will double
its capacity in 2008, with the addition of two new vessels: a
150-foot, 39-passenger yacht, the Safari Explorer, and a 108-foot,
six-passenger, charter-only boat, the Safari Legend.
The company said
that both vessels are scheduled to enter service in Alaska in May
2008, and that the Safari Explorer, which will also undergo a
multi-million dollar retrofit, will then sail interisland Hawaii
cruises beginning in December 2008, offering 21 departures through
currently sails the 22-guest Safari Quest, the 12-guest Safari
Spirit and the 12-guest Safari Escape.
