Atlas Ocean Voyages' new sailing yacht, the Atlas Adventurer, will have the fleet's largest suites yet, including its first-ever owner's suites.

The two-bedroom owner's suites will span 1,385 square feet and will include living space, a dining area and a marble spa bathroom.

They are part of what Atlas dubs its Reserve Collection, and there will be 30 Reserve Collection suites total, two of which will be the owner's suites. The rest will be 565-square-foot penthouse suites, which will also have living areas and marble spa bathrooms.

None of Atlas' current three ships have owner's suites, and the current largest suites in the fleet are 465 square feet.

Below the Reserve Collection is the Concierge Collection, which will have 72 suites consisting of deluxe concierge veranda suites, concierge veranda suites and concierge panorama ocean suites.

The 10 deluxe concierge veranda suites will be 375 square feet. There will be 38 concierge veranda suites and 24 concierge panorama suites, both of which will be 290 square feet.

The 98 remaining suites will also be 290 square feet. Those include 70 veranda suites and 28 panorama ocean suites.

A golden era of ocean travel

The design of the Atlas Adventurer suites is inspired by what Atlas is calling the "golden era of ocean travel," with marble and mahogany tones and art deco-inspired furnishings. The designers "studied the most luxurious liners of the 1930s," said Mario Ferreira, owner of Atlas' parent company, Mystic Invest Holding.

Reservations for loyalty program members open May 20, followed by reservations for the general public on June 10.

The Atlas Adventurer's first season will traverse new destinations for the cruise line in Asia and Africa. Its first cruise is from Kobe, Japan, on Nov. 18, 2028.

The ship is Atlas' first sailing yacht. It will also be able to generate electricity through hydropower, which will be used for propulsion in combination with the wind, Ferreira said.
