|

Carnival Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean International released timetables for their return to storm-damaged islands in the Caribbean.

Carnival said that cruises to San Juan will resume on Nov. 30 and that visits to St. Thomas and St. Maarten are scheduled to resume at the beginning of January. The Nov. 30 call in San Juan will be made by the Carnival Conquest.

St. Thomas can expect a visit from the Carnival Glory on Jan. 9, with a Jan. 15 stop in St. Maarten by the Carnival Sunshine to follow.

Carnival also said Grand Turk service will resume with a call by the Carnival Ecstasy "within the next two weeks."

Meanwhile, Royal Caribbean said its first call in San Juan will also occur on Nov. 30 with the Freedom of the Seas. It said a call by the Grandeur of the Seas on Dec. 17 will mark its return to St. Maarten.

Royal Caribbean previously announced that the Adventure of the Seas will be the first ship to resume calls to St. Thomas on Nov. 10.
