The top leadership at Carnival UK is changing, with longtime CEO David Dingle becoming chairman on Oct. 1.

Dingle’s role as CEO will be filled by David Noyes, currently executive vice president of operations.

Noyes joined Carnival UK in 2011 after a travel career primarily with British Airways. He will be succeeded as executive vice president by Elaine Holt, who most recently had been nonexecutive director of the British Highways Agency.

Dingle and Noyes will both report to Carnival Corp. CEO Arnold Donald.

Carnival UK is responsible for the operations of Cunard Line and P&O Cruises.
