Carnival Cruise Lines landed on a list of 40 most trusted brands in America compiled by Reader's Digest.

The magazine surveyed 4,500 people about the brands they trusted out of 40 categories. Carnival joined Campbell’s Soup, Folger’s coffee and Crest toothpaste on the list.

Most of the brands were household consumer products, with a few big ticket items like autos (Ford, Toyota), airlines (Southwest) and hotels (Marriott and Hilton tied) also included.

The response suggests a recovery for the Carnival brand, which was tarnished in 2013 by the Carnival Triumph engine room fire.

“Well done,” Carnival Chairman Micky Arison said in a tweet.
