Clipper Odyssey to resume South Pacific sked Oct. 1

SAINT LOUIS -- Clipper Cruise Line said its Clipper Odyssey, which was taken out of service after it hit a rock in July, is en route to Tahiti to resume its cruise schedule.

The 128-passenger ship will depart from Papeete, Tahiti, on Oct. 1 on its French Polynesia and Easter Island cruise.

The Odyssey was damaged after it hit a previously uncharted rock off the Aleutian Islands in Alaska, the line said.
