Cruise Holdings to Consolidate Three Brands

MIAMI -- Cruise Holdings Ltd. said it will combine its three brands, Seawind, Dolphin and Premier, into one new cruise line. The company said it will announce the line's name on Sept. 9.

Additionally, Cruise Holdings said it is upgrading its five ships to the tune of $22 million, including a "new look" and color scheme, a spokesman said.

Meanwhile, Carnival Corp. confirmed it signed a letter of intent to sell Holland America Line's Rotterdam V to Cruise Holdings. Terms were not disclosed.
