Cruise Planners/American Express rolled out a new website design for its home-based franchise owners.
Developed by Cruise Planners’ IT department, the site provides agents with an interface that is automatically personalized with industry videos, news and client testimonials as well as national cruise deals.
Agents can further customize their websites to distinguish themselves and define their area of expertise.
New tools geared for increasing consumer engagement in the “My Trips” section gives clients access to their own online repository of their personal trip itineraries. They can manage and customize their reservations as well as share trip details with their network of friends and family, via email, social media and/or through the new system’s communication tool.
Additionally, consumers can access information on ships, itineraries, ports of call, insurance options and other topics.
“We want our advisers to be the most successful in the industry. The branding of our new website along with the personalization it offers will give our advisers a competitive edge by setting the foundation for a customer to book, positioning our advisers against any online retailer,” said Vicky Garcia, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Cruise Planners/American Express.
