World Travel Holdings said CruiseOne now has more than 800 franchises, and that both CruiseOne and host agency Cruises Inc. grew their outlet count by more than 10% in 2013.


CruiseOne has a 93.3% retention rate among current owners, the company said.

Sales grew at double digit rates at the division that comprises CruiseOne/Cruises Inc., and World Travel Holdings agreed to invest $500,000 in new technology to promote further sales gains.

CruiseOne in 2013 got a new in-house digital marketing team to manage paid search and lead generation through web advertising.

A new video asset sharing program provides content that franchisees can personalize and use on TV, at special events and on the web. And an e-mail marketing tool was launched to let agents send news updates to their customers.

CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. will hold their national conference on the Regal Princess cruise ship in November.
