Wind Surf renovated cabinWindstar Cruises said the first phase of a refurbishment on the 312-passenger Wind Surf is completed.

The refit targeted staterooms, suites, bridge suites and corridors. Its public areas will be upgraded next fall.

The Wind Surf is operating seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruises from St. Maarten this winter.

The Wind Star and Wind Spirit, each accommodating 148 passengers, will undergo refurbishments of staterooms, owner’s suites, corridors and public spaces following the winter season. After the completion of work, both yachts begin their Mediterranean seasons in mid-April.

The $18 million fleet enhancement was announced earlier this fall.
