Fred Olsen Cruise Lines' 856-passenger Boudicca will get 17 cabins during an 11-day refurbishment in January.

While in drydock at a German shipyard, the vessel will receive 17 interior cabins due to the relocation of the ship’s fitness center from Deck 4 to Deck 10, where the fitness center is located on the Black Watch, the Boudicca's sister ship.

Also, the last of the cruise line's open lifeboats will be replaced during the refurbishment.

The Boudicca will sail to the Blohm + Voss yard in Hamburg after returning from a Canary Islands cruise on Jan. 4. Following the refit, the Boudicca will resume service on Jan. 16, with a 14-day cruise to the Canaries from Southampton, England.
