Happy Cruises possibly down and out

Spanish cruise line Happy Cruises appears to have ceased operations.

The line operates three chartered ships: the Happy Dolphin, the Gemini and the Ocean Pearl.

Trade sources noticed in recent days that the line’s booked passengers were being transferred to other lines. Its website no longer is functioning, and reports indicated that its three ships were terminating their voyages in Europe.

The line competes in Spain with Carnival Corp.’s Ibero Cruceros and Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.'s Pullmantur Cruises.

Happy Cruises was formerly known as Quail Cruises.
