The MSC World Europa will sail the Caribbean instead of the Middle East next winter, an announcement made as the Iran war enters its second month.
The World Europa will replace the MSC Seaview in the Caribbean. The Seaview is headed to South America for the winter. The impacted dates are from November to April.
MSC is still planning for the World Europa to sail the Middle East in the winter of 2027-28.
The World Europa's Caribbean itineraries include seven- and 14-night sailings from three departure ports: Martinique, Guadeloupe and Barbados.
Impacted customers can receive full refund or move their booking to another sailing.
MSC's canceled Middle East itineraries for the winter included calls in Qatar, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The MSC Euribia was in Dubai with passengers aboard when the war began, and the cruise line undertook a guest repatriation effort that included plane charters.
Last week, Explora Journeys announced that the Explora II would sail the Western Mediterranean instead of the Middle East come November.
Meanwhile, Celestyal Journeys canceled the rest of its Mediterranean cruises for April while its two ships remain stuck in the Persian Gulf. All guests are being offered full refunds or future cruise credits.
