The MSC Opera, which lost power while in the Baltic Sea on May 14, will undergo repairs in Poland.

MSC Cruises earlier said that the 1,800-passenger ship would be repaired in Nynamshamn, Sweden, where it was towed on May 15 due to a faulty electrical panel. All passengers disembarked in Nynamshamn, and MSC's May 18 cruise from Amsterdam was canceled.

The Opera was near the end of a 10-day cruise from Southampton, England, and was due to return there May 17.

The ship's next scheduled sailing is from Amsterdam on May 24.

MSC did not disclose the specific destination of the ship in Poland.
