MSC Cruises on Thursday celebrated the float-out of its next ship, the MSC Seascape, at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy.

The traditional event takes place when the ship touches water for the first time.

The Seascape is slated for delivery in November 2022. It will be MSC's fourth Seaside-class ship and its second in the Seaside EVO subclass.

The third ship in the Seaside class, the MSC Seashore, is being officially named on Nov. 20 at MSC's private island in the Bahamas, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.
